How to play Retro Blocks

Play Retro Blocks, a free falling-block puzzle game. Move and rotate pieces, complete lines and build your score with keyboard or on-screen controls.

Phone and tablet controls

Use the left pad to move pieces or lower them one row. Tap Rotate on the right to turn a piece and Drop to send it straight down.

Desktop controls

Use Left and Right to move, Up to rotate, Down for a soft drop and Space for a hard drop.

A useful first strategy

Keep the surface of your stack low and avoid covering empty squares. Check the next piece before committing to a hard drop.
